It is the policy of Armstrong Crane to strive for the highest safety standards in all of our operations. Crane safety is the direct result of careful attention to all of the operations by everyone involved.
All of our equipment is inspected daily and certifications are in place as per provincial guidelines. All of the certifications are completed annually by a 3rd party inspection company. The equipment is maintained and serviced on a strict schedule. All of our operators are highly trained and properly licensed.
All of our rigging is also thoroughly inspected before every lift and documented as per provincial guidelines.
The sites that we work on also go through an inspection before every job as many sites can have hazards such as close proximity to trees, overhead wires, underground utilities such as pipes and recently back-filled trenches which can all create potential hazards. All of these potential hazards need to be assessed before a lift can take place as they can impede on the safe operation of the crane.
